I get bad looks all the time, but not from my radio. My car smokes a little and people will sometimes tell me my car is smoking. I just look at them and say " It is suppose to smoke,,,It is a diesel!!
By far the best video yet for the Caddy!!!!! I wish I was sitting right there headbanging. I bet that sounded wicked in person. Mids and Highs FTW>> Sweet video
I have my Audiocontrol Epic 160. It has an Spl Meter in it. Doing 149 db on it around 40hz. Sealed on the Dash. Haven't had a chance to get it metered on a TL yet.
Well I have everything running well and sounding great in my walled up Civic. Set my amp with a DMM this morning. Gotta get some vids for you guys like now..Anyway today I am gonna fill the gaps at the top and on the sides of my wall with expanding foam. I am gonna tape, spray, and tool it down smooth then paint the foam when it dries. I don't have very man gaps to fill, but should I see a little gain when I totally seal it off??? I have heard mixed results from Totally sealing gaps in walls. Gaps I do have are about a half and inch to an inch at the most. After I get done I will take some pics and stuff.
I was told that the Gm large case alt with the 180 degree mounting tabs are the models we need. Not 100% sure about he Accord, but for Civic yes. Need 2- 1mm thick washers and a grinding wheel. A little longer channel mount on your stock mount so you can get more adjustment out of it. Doesn't sound that hard. I would love to have double the output of what I have now. That would rock...
They don't even have the pics of the new subs on the Fi site yet. Congrats on the exclusivity. The subs look different with that different motor on them..I am anxious to see how you like them. I think they look Sexy!!
I am thinking about doing this as well. I was told a Gm Large Case alternator will fit on my Civic with a little modification. My only question is will my Honda plug into the Gm Alternator or will I or you have to have some sort of adapter to make the Honda plug mate with the Gm plug. I have looked to try and find the back of a Gm Large case to compare the plugs. Your Accord shouldn't be much different than my Civic. I am thinking about selling my 160 amp Alternator for a 300 amp Iraggi. Hopefully someone that has done this will chime in and answer our questions. I believe Civicduty is doing or has done the Gm large case in a Honda.
Just always keep receipts for everything you buy. Usually if you have original receipts for your stuff and it gets stolen the companies will pay you to replace what was taken.
I was riding around on the backroads today with my music full tilt, Voltage never fell below 14.8 volts. Powermasters are no joke. What I want to do is buy another 3100 and a 300 amp Large case Gm alt and then I will wang fo show. Your setup looks nice man. Battery looks sweet in its new home.
If I could have taken off at work Tub I would have been there. I will be looking to make a show in our area soon. Just the last few shows I have had to work. Sucks
I am glad I went with Powermaster. They really are good batteries. Helped my Bad voltage drop problem i was having. I suspect if I buy another 3100 for the trunk I won't have much drop at all. My drop went from around 11 volts on old batteries to no less than 13 and some change on the Powermasters. That is full tilt..I will be buying another soon for sure.
