what is havoc based on? the q or the bl? if that 1.88 sealed box is the loudest he's heard, he would probably get blown away by the sq and the loudness of the q, in the right box.

i use my btl's daily. i love how they sound. the l7's and solox's i've heard, start to smell a lil when played for a while. don't get me wrong, the l7's sound good too. also, you're probably gonna have to spend way more money powering a btl.

i dunno about epic, but my bl 10 could crank out 141's at 39. it peaked at 42. i did a 142 flat. termlab, sealed off a t10001bd. lol, put in a t20001bd, changed the box and never got it over 143.

so the only power wire you added is to the 800? i would disconnect rear batt and the pos. run from it. kinda sounds like a power wire is grounding.

so you have to jump it to get it started again? doesn't die when running? sounds like your batteries are history. maybe accidentally grounded. edit. sorry i just read it better. you don't have to jump it. check your grounds. so you take both batteries terminals off?

that's what i meant. lol. sorry digi, i forgot was your finger. thought was your stomach. actually, most gaurds have an anti kick back thing on it. as far as fingers go, you can cut them no matter what. gaurd or no gaurd. i dunno, i build quite a few boxes and i bind wood sometimes when i'm in a rush. sometimes the guide's not on good.

hmmmm. i'm really interested in this too. i'm trying to help plan out a build that would have multiple woofers but not enough space to port all of them. the idea about having 2 ported boxes and one sealed was floating around. it kinda got shot down because some say the woofers would cancel eachother. anyone tried a sealed and ported box at the same time and had good resultts as well? anyone try it and failed?

want to just sell the kicker wire separately?

i think the one i use is 1 1/4, but air, porter cable. you should be all good unless that gun's not strong enough to get through the wood.

mdf? the t nuts i got was from homo depot and it's in an orange bag.

every time i used t nuts, they end up spinning in the mdf. i tried ca glue too, but glassing them in seemed to work better. if his holes are already crooked i wouldn't use a t nut or huricane nut. double baffled and flush cut imo would be less of a headache in this case.
