  1. I just made a ported box for 2 dc audio level 6 18s and it also stinks, I push them hard with a deaf bonce 12.5k each though
  2. Punishing the Beastly Deaf Bonce 15” Apocalypse 4515 Subwoofer 🔊🎶😳
  3. Please I need help. I have an 07 Cadillac Escalade with a c-pillar 4th order. 2 dc audio level 6 18s on 2 deaf bonce asa 8000.1. Sealed 6cu ported 12cu 240 sq port tuned up 47. It sounds amazing and deep from 28hz-42hz but the coils get really stinky really fast. Voltage only goes down to about 14.3 volts and there is no clipping. But my real question is did I make the wrong choice by putting them in a 4th order box. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you E7DFD05D-81ED-43D7-9B6D-FC2A3EC18ADB.mp4 IMG_0323.heic
  4. Actually 2 12s will give similar output as a single 18 on the same power, if you gave twice the power you would get louder than a single 18 and you can go higher than twice the power, likely 5-6 K is possible. A single 15 you can do but due to the significant difference in cone area you would need a lot of power to reach a 18, it would be very expensive not for the amp, amp is cheap but for the electrical, the 15 would likely really need twice the power to rival a 18, about 3dB is what a 18 has on a 15. If you still want a 15 check out steve's videos on the new deaf bonce 15s, looks like those subs are highly efficient due to the gigantic motors, no t/s params for them yet but for sure will be one of the loudest 15s ever out there.
  5. I'm currently on my fourth build of the year (because I can't get enough bass!)

  6. help me make up my mind! i have A DEAF BONCE DB3 15 in a trunkc build in my 2011 impala an i have about 2k before rise on it give or take, an im in the market for a amplifier, i want deaf bonce, crescendo, DC AUDIO, or really the best abng for the buck but i cant seem to make up my mind money isnt an issue but i dont want to over pay

    1. deathcards

      deathcards

do some looking i suggest trying to find a 2.5k amp with a very good 4 ohm rating if you are concerned with box rise. It 'should' give you a better frequency response overall. I say 'should' since some cabins are peaky in response to certain frequencies.

  7. I like the Deaf Bonce  sponsor now. Great company.

  8. Just some photos for now...i am working on the video this afternoon. Should be up a little later. This thing is massive! And yes, of course i put it over my head just to make sure i still can. Its a tradition!
  9. Deaf Bonce is amazing equipment, team and customer service. Big ups to Deaf Bonce!!!
  10. If you haven't noticed, we have a new partner at SMD. Deaf Bonce! Let me tell you a little about these guys. I didn't hardly know too much about them other than a couple of demo's i got at a show or two. Some of the hardest hitting systems i have ever heard! Yes, i know the installs have 90% to do with that but still, the brand seems to speak for itself. A few months back, i am at the shop working and this 70,000 watt MONSTER shows up. Out jumps a couple of people i have not met before asking me if i wanna hear it. HELL YA let's go for a ride! I can't believe they drive this thing all over the country . Anyway, from the minute they jumped out of the truck, even though i didn't know them, i felt a connection with them. VERY genuine people! Anyhow, we will be doing something cool soon i am sure of it! Welcome Alphard/Deaf Bonce! Come see me again if you are ever in the area!
  11. Sat in this beast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the CES showdown. This isn't a cram and jam big build... It was tuned extremely well considering how much equipment is in it. Vlad a cool ass dude too. I've been telling people how legit Alphard audio is. They sell their amps at the price they do simply to get out there. Their AAK Korean series amps are every bit as good as digital designs, Sundown, crossfire etc. Love Deaf Bonce equipment. They also might have the clearest best sounding pro audio speakers I've heard to date. And I'm not basing this off of this truck I run them in my navigator. Amps too.
  12. I stopped by DB Drag world finals to say whats upper' to all the people and to also drop off some emergency 1/0 cables to a Team Ruckus guy. It was POURING rain so i didn't get hardly any demo's. It was MISERABLE outside. I was happy to see so many people using the SMD Fuse blocks! They were EVERYWHERE! Thanks to everyone for that! But this thing here, was extremely brutal. I was about 3 beats away from tapping but i made it haha! Even got to test some of that new Psyph Morrison shit that just came out of the studio last night. FIRE on Fire the album is gonna be, i promise! Anyway, check out this demo...45k Taramps, 6 Deaf Bounce 15's in a walled blazer. It was fun, but very brain rattling.
  13. Have been playing with the dd1+ and found an issue in on vehicle. Car 1 gain set to -7.5db recheck the gain using the method in the owners manual and it shows right on the money-7.5db . In this car it’s a deaf bonce Machete 2k amp running on AGM batteries. 2nd car is a sundown salt 4K running on UGP Lithium and when I set with the same overlap and rechecked it’s -6.2db? Would it be anything with the batteries? Also with the Machete when I hit distortion before I hit read the voltage on the display holds steady but with the salt 4K I will have voltage jump from 79.6 up to 81.3 constantly rolling voltage up and down before I hit read. This has to be causing the incorrect gain overlap reading. But what is the root cause of it? Help please.
  14. Hey guys here's the issues I've been experiencing. The vehicle is a 2017 Maserati Ghibli S with OEM "Premium" Sound that basically means Harmon Kardon OEM shitty amp & "sub" (sub has been removed). -OEM Dash Tweeters replaced with, Skar 1"SPX-T highs -OEM Door Speakers have been replaced with a pair of 6.5 Deaf Bonce 4ohm Apocalypse AP-m61AC's -Tweeters & Mids run off Skar Skv2-200.4d Class D Mosfet 4 Channel Amp -16 gauge Sky High speaker ran to mids+highs -Dash Center channel was replaced with a Sundown equiv. but that is ran through the OEM Harmon Kardon Amp with OEM wiring -2 12" Skar ZVX 1ohm Subs -Custom Ported Box -Skar SKv2-3500 Mono Amp -Sky High 1/0 Power + Ground -XS Power Titan 8 Battery -Big 3 done -HO OEM Denso Altenator So OEM U-Connect HU runs ouputs to OEM Harmon Kardon Amp (crossed over by OEM ) After the AMP I only use the ouputs of AMP for the different crossed over signals that feeds to LCi7pro (outputs speaker wiring goes to no speakers except dash center channel which I could really careless about using anyways) Ch.1 tapped Front Left Tweeters and Front Right Tweeters Ch.2 tapped front left door mids and front right door mids Ch.3 tapped rear oem sub (been removed obviously to create a kind of blow-thru in rear decklid) The HU doesn't distort at Max Volume 38 (which is fine) The issue I'm running into is that on Ch.1 and Ch.2 according to DD-1 I am able to turn gains to MAX and when measured through 4 channel amp, those gains can go up almost to the 12 o clock position (which I know is distorting like a mother fucker) before I see distortion on DD-1. I have all X-overs on amps + HU flat etc. I'm playing 1khz + 40db test tones On Channel 3. (sub tap), those gains are setting to the eye reasonably normal and that doesn't seem to be clipping. I've turned down Channel 1. and Channel 2. gains so that temporarily I can actually listen to music however it's not at the level I'd like due to me being cautious not to burn my shit up until I can confirm gain levels. I'm thinking the OEM Crossed over signal doesn't give the full signal when I'm using test tones and hence why DD-1 isn't showing distortion until I actually play music. I have a CC-1 also and I played around with crossover points to see if that mattered vs levels being flat and it wasn't helping anything. If anyone could please help me out I can't express how much I'd truly appreciate your advice. Thanks guys and sorry for the Novel!
  15. Need enclosure volume ideas for 2 db4515s in sentra all seats removed but driver rear deck cut back to rear windshield. Electrical is straight running a salt4 and db aak4000 to 2 apocalypse db4515s. Looking to fill all available space from driver seat back but read windshield visible so height must be 22 max. Open to 4ths 6ths or high output vented. Thank you
