Looks good so far.....are you going to build a test box and see where the best place to load the sub is (ie driver passenger or middle of the trunk?), Just wondered cause sometimes it matters with single sub set ups...... BTW-Hows ur jetta comin? yeah, new rides are nice to work on, especially if you dont have to pull door cards and dash pieces heh.Import, Eruo, American, it makes no differrence to me if they pay me to build something fresh. yea the trunk looks pretty big untill you have to fit a 4 cube box ported and still have some trunk space aviable after the install is complete. Im sure I can arrange a demo for you when its done. Jetta, heh.... its gutted, only thing in there is a drivers seat, and airlines and shitload of wire, no more wood, I am starting fresh with the wall build. Fro sho, fresh New Meat, gotta love it. I would love to reallly play with it, to find the best possible sounding location, but Im really limited on space, that and we really wanted to funnel as much of the sound into the cabin, with-out cutting anything up. I am trying real hard for 4^3 feet tuned to 30hz with about 85 to 90^2 of port area slot ported, I may not be able to do that, Im gonna have to get real creative, and then glass the living daylights out of the inside to make it strong. more pics comming later, I have been messing with it this morning already
David
ok Since I see Christian is watching I willpost what I have done so far. just some testing to see how Im gonna make it work. nice assshot! frontshot after moving it around alil bit, I made a couple of small cuts, I think this will be how it sit's. rearview. another front shot. this is gonna take some real effort, but I think we can pull it off. roscoe1129
So are you gonna build in the car and leave just enough room to slide the box back to get the sub in? David
possibly, its hard to say, Im still trying to figure it all out, Christian says that he slid a 6 cube box into the trunk before, so maybee I can fit it in after building it.
