will 2 aq1200 push 4 15"

Recommended Posts

I have a hifonics brz2400 and I love it the brz are rated at 1700 at one ohm aq are rated at 1200 so if you go with the hifonics will get roughly 1000 watts more give or take some depending on price to me you can't go wong with either but I like the new the brz series

Lol, the AQ is Underrated, and has a better efficiency than the hifonics, and how does 1200 to 1700 equal 1000 watts? Lol

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

he was saying 2 1700w amps vs 2 1200w amps...

1200 and 1200 is 2400

1700 and 1700 is 3400

I didn't say hifonics is better I just said I like hifonics brz series but like my post says can't go wrong with either imo 1200+1200-2400 1700+1700-3400 which is a difference of 1000 watts he is buying 2 of either one

I see your logic now, but doesn't apply to practical application. I would do the AQ1200 hands down and depending on the voicecoil configuration would probably look at one bigger amp opposed to two smaller amps
