Seeing the miles I wouldn't do it unless the rest of the tahoe is clean and would make it worth putting another motor in. Then you have to think. Will you have money when the motor goes out? It's hard to tell when it will. Some last way over 200k some don't. How dependable is your cavy? Be prepared for your gas bill to double. If you have smog where your at tell him to smog it and look at the results. My 02 crown Vic has been maintained so well it burns below average on everything.
