FINALLY able to start putting the box together, though it isn't finished yet. On to pictures! Didn't want to get a basic router since i plan on building plenty of boxes besides this one plus i wanted something that was plenty durable to last some time. Went with this nifty Dewalt, and Lowes even price matched to Amazon, big time score!! The looks i got carrying this monster case out of the store were priceless lol Quick disconnect power cord, 1/32" plunge ability, soft start up, 6 speeds for different materials, dual shank adapters Now that i bought this behemoth and put myself in more debt lol, time to make use of it. Battery tray top/base for the box Routed and sanded edges Hinged for easy access to batteries, cables, etc. Fits perfectly, the trays are not finished yet but soon lol Little fuse panel i threw together for the switch panel i have planned out Fits perfectly under the driver seat between the mounting bolts That may not be the actual mounting place, i'd like to be able to take both seats out at the local car shows to show off what i have done but not leave the fuse panel in the open. kryptonite Posted August 15, 2011 Author Report Posted August 15, 2011 On to yesterday's work, finally put the puzzle pieces together to what resembles a box for a pair of 10s lol. One of the subs doing double duty That little screw gun is probably my best investment in tools yet Center brace glued and screwed Needed something to hold the side panel to the top so i could predrill, glue and screw it together without buying a corner clamp. This should do Opposite side predrilled for the side panel The bottom put on, starting to look like something All of the 45s put into their correct places. The board in the port is not staying, somehow the inside port wall was crooked and angled down, narrowing the port by 1/2". In order to straighten it out, the board was put in and i had to use monster clamps to hold the box straight to glue and screw in the sides. And the almost finished product, couldn't help myself, had to see it with the cannons loaded up top I know the pictures were super dark at the end, poor lighting in my garage at night sucks. I'll get better pics when i work on it again. That is all, for now...
