I recommend you to look at build logs from experienced members that involve walls

only 2? I look at and measure my explorer off and I swear you could comfortable do 4. Cut the tire humps out in the back that don't actually cover anything and that's a lot of space.

Are you f***ing serious?!?!?! Those stupid humps don't even cover the wheel wells? I'm pulling a panel off today to check that. Lol I'm not mad just irritated that I never checked that before.

Back to OT. The explorers only have about 36" of height in them behind the back seat and it slopes down to about 33" in the back. If you lose the back seat you could easily fit 4 18s though. if you have a 4 door explorer and not a sport I think you may be able to fit 2 18s without a wall though

ya on mine the wheel well goes into it some. id maybe gain a half inch on top and and inch on the sides. not worth cutting up unless i had another panel to replace it with.

I have a 99 4 door Explorer, and I've had 2 18's in a wall, 3 18's in a wall, and 3 and 4 18's subs up. Every setup but my last one was still behind the rear seats then I finally gave in and lost them :) (The cubic feet I list are after displacement)
