rboudreaux77
I wanna take the XL 15 I have and put it in my wifes car and get me a level 5 15 to put in mine running on my AQ2200. I wanna know how the 2200 will push the level 5. I know they are pretty beastly and can handle a crap-load but its what I got for now. 1loudhoe
It'll push it, but will beg you to give it another 2200 strapped
CJ18
The AQ 2200 will push it but like has already been said, it will BEG for MORE!
rboudreaux77
Yeah well I know this already I guess what im trying to say is should I just keep my XL 15 on the 2200 or will upgrading to to level 5 make a big difference or little to no difference at all. I am planning to make a bigger box for the 5 if I get it Quote http://www.dcsoundlab.com/ 2008 Chevy Impala (Daily Driver) Pioneer touchscreen w/navi 1 DC XL 15" (around 4cuft ported box) 1 AQ2200 1 AQ90x4 Memphis MClass 6.5s (front doors) Memphis MClass 6x9s (rear deck) stock alt & front batt; 1 Red top in the trunk 139.2db sealed (on my old JL1000/1) 140.0db outlaw (on my old JL1000/1) 1992 Chevy S-10 Ext cab. TeamHT
Well how long will the level 5 be on the 2200? You could just build a larger box to compensate Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
kirill007
On lower power the DC XL is louder then the lvl5. So if u have less then 3.5k i would keep the xl, it's louder. techforce
You can always get a LVL5 and run the AQ2200D at .5 ohm... I know they run at .5 ohm no problem, I do it all the time...
