kickass audio Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 yes pretty much thats what i was getting at. yea the n2 would suit your needs pretty well. and yes you can use the xtrpros in the box for the btl BUT they have a higher risk of bottoming out a little sooner if ur throwing a ton of power at them so dont get volume happy with them. id keep the setup u have right now but ditch the box. i know how it goes, i myself have a prefab box for my solox because my dad insisted i was too stupid to know how to build a box and that i had no patience for it (im proving him wrong this spring tho) and he insisted i get a prefab box to get bass as fast as possible so i would shut up with nagging him to let me use the table saw. mind you im gonna be 20 and he doesnt trust me with a simple table saw. its not like im gonna be like "ooooo sharp blade spinning fast, let me put my hand in there" lmao. But id say to do this: 1.) Make a bigger/better box for the btl n2's 2.) temporarily put the xtrpros in the box until you can afford the btl's 3.) temporarily use your current amp for the xtr's until you can afford another bigger amp to give the btl's the power they crave 4.) upgrade your power and all that good stuff. Ok sounds like a plan. Just an FYI , I wouldn't power the n2 to the extent of vehicle damage until I upgraded power components. I guess when you throw the dimensions my way I'll go buy some wood and knock it out.
