i like the trim panels :good: makes it look alot cleaner

orange calipers they def stand out there an Escalade riding around here with the same color calipers on 24s you can see them from like two blocks away lol

I soldered my diode mod in today I'm only using one diode now. The new alt had a more voltage than the stock alt so I don't need two.

how do you do that? can it be done to any alt?

i was thinking of getting a MLA module for mine but not 100% yet

Im not sure what alts it works on. I know for sure how to do chevy trucks and GM 3800's. The MLA is pretty much the same thing from what people have said.

Thanks, the panels really make a big difference, looks much cleaner. The orange matches the stripe pretty good. Its a nice touch. I think the orange is too bright but the paint makes it look good.

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

the tint looks pretty good

how do you like the 18 over the 4-12s, it seems to be louder

I was kinda scared to really beat on the 12's being they only wanted 2000RMS and I am easily pushing 3300. The 18 is louder tuned at 32Hz than the 4 12's tuned at 35Hz.

nice job got a new vid up of my car sure the paint job ain't as good as urs but it works

  • 2 weeks later...

Well I started fiber glassing a custom rear deck for my car to install (4) 6.5" Alpine SPS600C Components in. The BTL is more than taking care of the bass but I wanted more dims and highs, and I actually want to use my T1000-4 LOL. The 6x9's were doing a pretty good job but the 6.5 set in my doors sound a lot better so I figured I would step it up. Here are pics. I Hope to have it installed by Wed. Ill post pics as it comes along. I had to lift the rings 3/4" so the speakers would clear the rear deck with out having to cut anything. If I sell it I want to be able to go back to factory easily.
