GJones84
Getting ready to make a new box for my DD9518G and I have some 4" aeroports laying around. The question that I have is if my two 4" ports are going to be enough. No sure what to do. Should I use them? Maybe use 4 of them? Or just grab the 6" ports. Any advice will help before I waste time or money.
hdorre
Download Torres box calculator. Robert8252
For a 18" I would start with three 6" aeros minimum. Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
fecupe2001
Depends on the internal space of the box and xmax also, 9518´s seems to like big port area, i would go with 6-7 cubic feet depending on the power you have, and 2-3 6" aeros IMO, maybe you could use 4 4´s , but 2 4´s is WAY TOO SMALL port area man... AMI CUSTOMS
Why not just do a slot port and be done with it, especially for a box that big. fecupe2001
Maybe he has some problems fitting the box already, slot ports takes away more internal space than an aeroport, let´s wait for him to jump in here, you always can use PVC tubes, those work awesome and are cheap as hell Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
