Its fully custom the original owner had this built and sold the factory ls2. It consists of a ls3 block that was then stroked to 418 with callies crank and rods, mahle pistons, 4" stroke. stevog Posted November 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2013 I had said I wasn't going to put a system in this car but I really missed the bass so I removed everything from the old car and put it in this one. I also changed some things and got some new stuff to try out. Im new to having a 4ch amp and components so I wanted to start off with a CT Sounds 60.4 and some MB Quart ONX components. I haven't installed the components due to them being a bit to big for the plastic that holds the stock speakers so for now I just wired the stock speakers to the 4ch. I haven't set the settings up yet but it sounds better than before already. I also changed how the amps were held since I needed to add the other amp. Here is the old amp rack I added a new section and covered it with some left over headliner fabric. I oversprayed the glue a bit and messed it up but it will never be visible anyways since it goes under the sub box in the spare tire well. Experimenting with some Damp pro im going to add more. Front door and speakers Amps in spare tire well Old sub and box from other car. Im looking at upgrading to a SP4 but for now this will do. I finally got the components in there alright but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I know n8 hates probably hates these but for now they will do. Had to cut the weather shield for the speakers.
