Make sure all cuts are even and to the T, make sure u seal it up real well, make sure it is properly braced either with dowels or all thread, 45's in the corner never hurts either. Screws Glue Caulk, and either some paint or Carpet thats all you need.

this is for one sa12 so i dont think bracing is necessary. but i will double baffle it. thanks man

*Measure 3 times cut once

*Always make you cut then make you measurement for the next piece(So you pieces dont keep getting the width of the saw smaller every cut)

*Dont be shy with the glue, if it gets a little messy you can always sand if off later.

*Dont go crazy with screws, they are just there to hold the box together while the glue dries

*When using screws space em 4-5inches apart

*When using screws always predrill, you dont want split wood

*Bracing is always good and a Single 1" Dowel Rod can brace you box Horizontally and Vertically

*Make sure to use some Caulk/Silicon to seal all the inside edges of the box, even though it may look solid each small space counts

*Routers are awesome, if your gonna be building boxes often its a must have

Thats all I can think of At the Moment.

Good info here. 45s can hurt though.

Straight cuts are important. Birch ply is easier to cut than MDF and its stronger too. But more expensive.

Look at plenty of build pics here for ideas.

i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch...

going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

45's aren't a given for making a box louder. It's a test, try and retest kind of thing. Or if you are familiar with the box design you are working with then that helps too ;)

I personally think mdf is more forgiving for new box builders. Plus splinters suck.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
