Im not too sure about dirtbikes, but my r6 runs 10w-40 in her. It is a fourstroke.

You NEED to mix the gas and oil for that bike, and you NEED to run two stroke oil.

The tranny will have a specific oil in it as well though...some bikes use the auto tranny fluid, others use different things. Search google for that.

I would not use car oil in a motorcycle. Car oil has additives to prevent friction. As since the clutch uses the same oil to lubricate, over time the additives will make the clutch plates and friction plates to become smooth and will cause the clutch to need to be replaced sooner then normal. Spend the extra few bucks and get the correct oil.
