Sum guy at car stereo place said I could get louder by doing this of course since he never heard of sundown and he is a kicker guy he knows he could have built box to be louder, and suggested shortening the port to like 8"??? You could make a second port to install for SPL use and keep that long one for daily. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
