Supercharged DCs
Going to try my hand at building my first box. These are the specs... My question is what materials besides 3/4MDF will I need? I plan to make a trip to Lowes tomorrow after school to pick everything up Quote Bassless once again. hdorre
Glue, glue-nails (forgot name) liquid nails, possibly dowel rods, table saw, and circle jig. You may wanna get suede/carpet/leather/vinyl/paint to cover the box too Edited March 24, 2011 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

bumonskateboard6
If you don't know upholstery don't try your luck with vinyl with a pattern, the speaker box carpet is very forgiving with seams. KAPONE.SS
Liquid nails will allow flex at the joints and silcone is a sealer not a glue. Use wood glue, I usually use either titebond II or III. And if you are useing 3/4" wood use 1 5/8 coarse thread sheetrock screws and a counter sink bit. bumonskateboard6
^ I don't use screws I use brad nails and glue, but if you're going to use screws I suggest trying to find some SPAX MDF screws, they're a little more expensive but they don't split the wood and you don't have to pre drill. Also, do you guys think that the 40 hz tuning is too high for daily. I listen to rock and rap mostly, but i want it to perform best with rap. Quote Bassless once again.
