Just make sure the paint is completely removed. The metal needs to be clean and shiny. It also doesn't hurt to do the big three. Then bolt it down to the chassis. Idk, it worked for me so i don't see how it wouldn't work for someone else. I usually don't sand metal either. Grinding works better for me, LOL.
