crispy_chick3n Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 ok i know it is here on the site because i have seen it before here, but i just cant find it. you may remember a while back my buddy with the mustang that i helped him cram 2 15's in the trunk. yea... he told me today that he is purchasing him some 18's, i cant remember what brand he said, but thats not important. what i would like some help finding is the build on here with 2 18's in the trunk of a mustang in an infinate baffle design, but i cant for the life of me find it. i need to take some notes, and i figured, same car same size and number of subs, same configuration. i have never designed and built an infinate baffle design before, so note taking is a must. my buddy wants to start friday, so its time for me to kick it into high gear and get to work on it. i know that for an infinate baffle design to work at its best front must be sealed from rear, so any tips that you fellas have are more than welcome, also if one of you knows where the build is located on the site, a link would be greatly appreciated. and hopefuly (weather permitting) we will have another build log very soon. thanks in advance Quote This page is crispy_chick3n approved. © crispy_chick3n inc

Hes a published author. worked for RF etc etc etc. yea i realized that after i read the topic, and the topic on his cutlass. that is one nice clean build, i wanted to get some ideas on mounting the baffle, and i got a few while browsing the topic, also while looking at his mustang i figured out how im going to mount the subs in the car. btw i talked to my buddy today about scraping the trunk idea and putting a wall in, and he said no. he is one of those people where once his mind is set on something, it aint changing. he also disclosed that he was either going to be going with RE audio 18's, or DD 18's. i put a strong suggestion in for the DD's. he said he will have his mind made up and the subs ordered friday. i just have to make a run to home depot sometime soon and pick up some more MDF, some fiberglass, screws, bondo, and paint, and the build will be rolling. edit: oh and i forgot to mention the payment this time. he is buying me this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22567_Power-Acoustik-PTID-7002NRB.html, which will be nice for bluetooth from my iphone (whenever my screen shows up) and he is giving me his 2 old 15" MTX 9500's. so i actualy want to do this build.
