Because with limited space behind the door/fender, the big ass "Molex connector" or whatever is way too bulky to fit behind it with the gas shocks as well. Had to chop that one off just for space. ghost28 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Like everyone else has said...match up ALL of the colors and make sure everything is shrink tubed and sealed up well once you are done and then see what does or doesnt work...then first check all fuses....you may have popped a few doing the job.... Also i want to see more pics of the Turus with Lambo doors.....It doesnt look too bad in your little avatar pic....

Also, on the driver's side, Yes, there's a huge ass dent, and a wrinkle by the fender. My old man backed into it with his truck a while back, leaving the first dent (Which I forgot to pop out when putting on the lambo doors) and the second dent, right in front of the door, is from some dick in a hit-and-run the same weekend I put the lambo doors on. Luckily, they ran into it the day BEFORE I put the hinges on. Had it been the day after, I'd need to buy some new shocks. Edit: New link to add the decals I had put on this weekend. I love them I enjoy listening to the gas shocks as my doors open. It never gets old. I plan to pimp this bad boy out completely. Hopefully by this fall, it'll be in show-room condition. 2 DC XL 10's, Lambo doors, tint, HID's, 19" rims, painted brake calipers, engine dress-up kit, exhaust, And then a new engine. Hopefully a supercharged or twin-turbo. Whatever I can find for the right price. Edit: And for me, it's easy to get in and out of. I'm quite a small person. For my 6'1" brother-in-law.... Not so much. It's possible for him to get in and out, but it's not a fun task. I guess I need a new sticker that says "No fat chicks".
