Tarball
My dad uses my truck to tow our trailer. It kills me when I have to drive their cars. It doesn't hit me as bad because I love country music as much as I love bass. Am I the only one on here who likes country? country can sound nice with serious bass to back it up Na man I'm talking about straight country, no bass. but why, music is music, imagine listening to a bass cd with no treble or no midrange. Everything sounds better when you listen to the full audio spectrum. But I know what your sayin' CURRENT SYSTEM: Alternator: Stock alt on mids/highs Isolated DC Power 270 SP - Charging @ 16.8v Batteries: (2) XS D1400s Power Cable: Double Runs of 1/0 KNU Kolossus Fleks Headunit: 80-PRS Sub Amp: DC 5.0k Subwoofers: 2 RE MT 15s /PSI dual .7ohm recones Subwoofer Enclosure: 9.1cubes @ 32hz - brutal. blownengine
Yea there is bass in country but it doesn't shake the windows like other music. Tons of bass with country sounds weird, I turn the bass down. 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT (Yea its got a Hemi)Alpine CDA-105KnuKonceptz 0ga CCA Big 3 with Yellow Top 15" SoundQubed HDC3DC Audio 1.2K (Bass)Pioneer 6x9's (Front)Pioneer 6.5's (Rear)Kicker 3.5's (Dash)Sony amp on the highs. Quiet
id rather listen to no music than music without bass x2. In the midst of collecting equipment for my budget build, I sold my well-exercised JL 10w1s, reverting completely back to stock, removing the fuse from my sub amp. All I listen to now is news radio on AM. Good sound or nothing at all. When I build I will post. I've been collecting for almost 2 years now and I'm past the point of withdraw. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
Kevin M
I've been without bass since December. Got tired of the old setup and ripped it out. A week later I realized I made a terrible mistake haha. I'll be back in a couple weeks. The drought will be over. From 1 12" to 2 18" oh yeah babe. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
