Yah i was told that... but the only reason why i did the level 4 or HDC3 is becuase there what i could afford. You do know im offering 10% off?? I can get you an XL 15 pretty cheap. Basically an "X" ohm woofer will not always stay an "X" ohm woofer during music. It depends on so many things. Tuning frequency, wooofer, power, coil material, coil temperature. RAM_Designs Posted April 5, 2011 Report Share Posted April 5, 2011 Both subs will work pretty well in that box you specified...DC will like a little lower tuning though, like 30-32hz. Tuning 10hz above the Fs is going to give you a pretty peaky response curve(which may be what you want anyways).
