KeepItLow91
I have a shitty beginner system, two 12" kicker comps on 300 watt kicker amp, prefab box. I've already inverted the subs to reduce woofer displacement and it helped my lows a good bit, get about an inch of window flex (when window is cracked or half open) on a slowed version of I Cook and other similar songs. I was wondering if making a custom T line box and trashing my prefab box would be worth the time and money. Any kind of feedback is appreciated. CaPRiCEx383
Yeah designed right its always worth it, You would be surprised how much output "entry level subs" have in a well built ported box. I say go for it you won't regret it. 90 Nissan 240sx Avic z-140bh Audison SR4 Audison Voce 6.5s CDT es-20 tweeters Sundown 1500v3 (2) DD 9510's 3 cube box 2 6" aeros XS Power D2400 & Xp950 Skyhigh/Knukonceptz/Rockford Fosgate wiring More Coming Soon.. KeepItLow91
As my post says I'm a noob. How would I go about designing a box and figuring how to make it to my desired tuning?
cc_audio
Custom box done at a shop? No, because they overcharge like CRAZY and rarely know what they're doing anyway. But if YOU are doing it then 100% yes, its only a $30 sheet of MDF. What kind of equipment are you playing around with? It's all gone!
