duff_thrust Posted April 6, 2011 Author Report Posted April 6, 2011 This is with the box about 95 percent or better done. I have about an hour or 2 left of work on it which will be smoothing out some minor details and then flush mounting the subs. I just like that look. I just can't afford the materials as of right now I plan to possibly do a little bondo work and fiberglass to make everything streamlined and smooth and then I will throw a quick coat of paint on.

duff_thrust Posted April 6, 2011 Author Report Posted April 6, 2011 Anyway, before my system got jacked and just after I had bought my Crescendo I metered a 148.6 sealed on the dash with my old box and old subs. It was dropping to the low 12's upper 11's. I revved it up a bit and it gained me a couple tenths which is when I hit the 148.6.

duff_thrust Posted April 6, 2011 Author Report Posted April 6, 2011 Nice setup, but doesnt mounting the amps on the box wreck the guts? Just wondering! I've heard the same, And it isn't good to screw directly to the box at all. You can't see it at all but I bought some small about 1/4 inch thick rubber grommets and doubled them up underneath each mounting foot and screwed threw them to absorb some of the shock. I had really no other option to mount them the box takes up the entire cargo area. I tried under the rear seat and it's also a no go. That spot worked fine for my Crescendo but mounting 2 amps under there about the same dimensions as the 3kwp isn't gonna happen.
