I have narrowed it down to two choices the AQ 2200, and the SoundStream 2600. Im not shure if i shuld get the SoundStream cuz it has more watts, can someone help me out ? woodzyspl Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 probbly want a bigger amp.. duno i dunno how these new btls go.. but go for what cheaper..400watts you wont notice to the ear (not that i no you can lol) and iv seen soundstreams do ALOT under rated..mine dose 3watt under on burst or short music but dies fast (stupid voltage) and mates dose few over AUSTRALIA do i need say more? HU: some crap pionee AMP: dc 9k @ 18v SUB: 4 elevation audio sqx 12" Battery: 2 neuton power 8200d burp setup for fun 152's soon to come: rebuilt soundstream xxx (2 18" OR 3 15" wall) Bunch speakers, more batts and new HU

With that said, IF you did get the full 2200 or 2600 wRMS out of the respective amps, the BTL could handle it. I say get which ever amp you can get for the best price. And watch the BTL laugh. TeamHT Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 Best set up is going to be dependant on your install, creativity, originality, and technical application. If you have to ask, I wouldn't recommend going over the ratings for your equipment. I hope you've upgraded the electrical aspect to provide the draw required and although VS threads are prohibited, I would say just go with the AQ2200. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Any time you are asking to compare equipment to which is: better, louder, better quality, etc that IS a comparison between said brands which IS a VS thread. Your choice. Advice and suggestions were given. Obviously some things just don't ring well with people. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
