Ahh well i just looked up that sub 21" thats crazy. well it says its rated at 1500 Rms. Soooo i would get one AQ2200 and one of those in a dual 2 verson and run it at 1 ohm

2000+ watts rms to a 1500 rms sub will make it slap.

Plus with that amp you would only need 2 battries, a HO Alt and a bunch of 0 Gauge.

so those ratings on the aq were at rms power? i thought those were max ratings

i'm sure that DP will handle 3l no problem in the hands of someone who knows what there doing

but for 16 year old who's just getting into this stick with an aq 2200 for now and maybe later down the road get a second but for now dont go spending all your moniezzzzz

edit and the DP is a duel 1 or duel 2

so look at these ratings

.5- or 2 ohms- or 1-4 ohms

with a dual 2 ohm speaker you can get a one ohm load

but seriously, I wouldn't consider that AQ3500.1, I was thinking of straping two 2200 but they stated that it would be easier on your electrical system to get the 3500.1 over two 2200 and less stress on the amp as well. to me it's worth the 800, thats price is a steal, try buying a sundown amp, them bitches are expensive.

i know it sound ghetto, but what if you could get a 12volt motor like a fan and attach a pulley to it and then run an alt in the back of the car and where the little motor wines up the second alt, then run a backup battery from the 2nd alt then to the amp., you could run smaller runs of pwr/gnd to the little motor with a double sized pulley for more rotation for the alt.

i think he dose that stuff idk. but really i would get a sweet box no frils then get some led and what not if you want it to be flashy.

me my self like a more simple clean look and just let the bass do the talking not the looks
