I'll keep it simple.

I have 50' of KNU CCA wire, which I ordered believing it was the OCA wire.

What is the maximum power handling rating for CCA?

If I'm running more than 3k watts, should I return it and get something better?

Current Build:

1999 Tahoe #ComingSoon

Previous Build(s):

Crossfire Magnum

5k Pontiac G6 GT

i just ordered 2 50' spools of KCA and they just came today. they are rated to 250 amps. so it really depends on home many runs you put to your rear bank.

generally speaking, 1/0 awg ofc wire is rated for 300 amps, 1/0 awg cca wire is rated for 250. for your 3000 rms i would recommend doing two runs to the rear if possible. only 1 run may choke the system some

I think adding another battery and using Ofc will be a better idea. Like the big 3, Ofc is what I'm using than cca.

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

You know that since 03/11/11

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.

What size is the wire and what class is your amplifier?

It's really nothing about class, its more of how much rms is the amp rated for.

A Class D amplifier is more efficient compared to a Class A/B amplifier therefore you can get more power out using a Class D amplifier. With a Class D amplifier one run of 1/0 gauge wire may suffice but with a Class A/B amplifier you will definitely need two runs of 1/0 gauge.
