cartunez2004
Ebay is your friend with Sound deadner.Meglo peal n seal is thick, I would say its very close to the same as dynamat in thickness, I have used mainly dynamate and the stinger roadkill, I used the peel n seal, in my ride because Im a cheap bastard, and it seams to work well if you prep for it and use the correct tools, will it stay on there forever? I dont know, I will never know once I glass the roof. o so around about how much is it and what kinda prep do u need to do cause where im using it get alot of air my ports are only like 6'' away from the hatch Quote new toy 97 chevy s10 ext cab bagged 22s system (coming soon ) 4 soundstream t4-15s walled 2 concept 2410 mono amps REFS http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=cartunez2004 http://caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t...ht=LOUDCARTUNEZ
Guest MegaloManiac
to prep surface you wipe down surface with a tach clothe. make sure surface is completely clean. the cleaner the surface the better it will stick to. cause if u stick something to a dirt surface, then u r sticking to dirt and not the panel, it WILL definitely fall off. prepping is very important if you still plan to go Peel-N-Seal route heres the link http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=prod...017-81326-PS625 Edited September 28, 2007 by MegaloManiac

01xtreme
when I pepped my surface I went over everything with Prep-all from Car Quest, and it removes all the oil, dirt, grime, or anything else on the surface. Even Peel and seal will stick great after that stuff. I cant remember how much it was, but it isn't too expensive, and a gallon will be plenty to do your whole car. Big P
Its the same thing sept the top one I got from doug instead of foil it has thick fabric it seems to do really well. Ive got flowmasters dumping out under the cab and I can barely hear them. The bottom stuff is another form of peel and seal its more splash guard sealer its rubber and sticks super good but your gonna need 3 layers to = 1 layer of dynamat I ended up putting 2 more layers of the fabrick stuff over the top of it.
