Supercharged DCs Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 If I remember correctly, GeoHot found out a code for Playstation that allows the hacker to sign off every outside program as a developed one, which means they can make the console think the hacks are supposed to be there. They can't be banned, because they can use the code to rewrite the ban... My terminology is probably off, haven't been into gaming or news involved with it in months... Bassless once again. But then when Sony stated that the PSN downtime was because of an outside source Annonymous took credit. BUT as soon ad it went down I googles to see if I can find out why and I found a site that posted (in 2009) that Sony had a scheduled maintenance for PSN on 4-21-11 (the day everything started) so I personally don't know what to give Annonymous credit for but I want my PSN back.
