Doesn't work. OSHA will give them a time limit to fix any violations...plenty of time too. Most of the time the violations will only cost the company a little time to fix things.

since the owners won't do anything file a harassment suit against him. you won't get another job for a while (I wouldn't hire anyone who had sued their employer) but it might get the point across to the owners.

this is the worst idea ever, its like telling someone to file a workmans comp claim, and like you said he wont get hired anywhere else.

i did this to one of my old bosses at a fence company i used to work at. he was talking about how he was the man blah blah did this and that for 25 years( same shit ) so i followed his lead. when i pointed out that he had me weld the hinge on so the gate would open on the wrong side he said " alright well finish this shit up and go to the next job " then proceeded to get in his truck and head back to the shop where that little office bitch belongs.

just let him fuck all kinds of shit up so the owners notice and or just get a new job.

sorry but people are not always going to show you respect, and who is to say you have earned it? no offense I just don't know you or the situation so who is to say it's as posted.

All of the suggestions above will only help you get out of this situation, not teach you how to deal with it.

i guess you missed the part where he said he was born in illinois. with that being said i would take that as racism. kranny by far the best choice would be getting another job elsewhere. any other options would hurt you just as much as solve the problem. and i definitely wouldnt put my job on the line trying to find another one either. thats just poor advice lol

in the equal opportunity guidelines anything that creates a hostile work environment is considered harassment first make a formal complaint to his superiors if this does nothing and you have noone higher to go to file a complaint with the equal opportunity office in your area, most states have what is called whistle blower protection to protect both your job and the identity of the person filing the complaint, i have dealt with this before from one of my store managers, alot of times those of us in upper management are not aware of the situations due to employees being afraid to "rat" someone out, if you need anymore help pm me and i will help you find the offices you need in your area.
