Rat rods aren't show cars, they're all about making it run good and not worrying too much about looks. Wood paneling (fake at that) is far from rat rod, maybe old school but even then it didn't look good, IMO. Look up some pics of actual 'rat rods' and then look at the civic you compared to them. Nothing in common.

I'm kinda tired of looking at fender flare and wide lips all the time. It's not for me, but I'd still check it out!
