He used a heat gun to heat up the metal and then sprayed that dust remover aerosol can upside down on it (which apparently makes them cold enough to burn your skin) and it just popped out. I guess it was the rapid expansion/contraction of the metal? Do y'all think this actaully works? Kinda cool. We use the air spray cans, upside down to reset thermal limit switches in ovens, and microwaves in appliance repair It does the same thing, a spring inside that bends due to the rapid temp drop, and it works pretty good I would assume this would work for dents too when done right Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Park in the sun in the summer and let the metal get nice and toasty the rub dry ice on the dent and it will pop out. And ya its the expansion/contraction that allows the metal to do that. But ya it definitlry takes timing to work 100% right.
