Just As far as i concern if u putting two subs in a sealed box u HAVE to get a wall in a midle of the box(INSIDE) so one sub would not damage other one...cuz when u hit bass air has no way to get out,and it pushes out other sub..u might damage them tho...

Sorry for my English-U shuold try to write in Lithuanian to know what it feels lol.

NICE JOB

KEEP IT GOING

P.S IM Kicker Lover TOO

although thanks for your information, this is the point, you want to create that pressure inside the box, it gives resistance to the subs normal flexibility, remember they are both pushing in the same direction together, so it is a joint effort to compress that air in the box, will give tighter quicker notes, a wall will do nothing inside the box except give less airspace, infact it would most likely reduce output, the more pressure the better, lol, allows me to push more power to the coils as it wont hit its xmas as fast, thats how sealed boxes are designed, plus next summer I am going to do 2 6inch aero ports, with a way to go switched sealed and ported withing seconds/minutes :D going for a tuning freq around 33hz, but might change it a bit :D

  • 2 weeks later...

So I have a new SRI Coming in tomorrow, its Corksport, a mazda only brand, it doesn't look fancy, but they designed and tested it with this car a lot and will sound awesome and let the car windddd up nice, I took a lot of time looking at CAI and SRI's for my mazda3, and this one won as far as being the best, cai are nice but are prone to hydrolock due to the position of it, the sri is compltely safe, and lets the engine breath!! The other brand I was looking at was HPS and Simota, but corksport only does mazda stuff so they really put a lot of time into this once, which this show with there testes too.. ill get pics along with my alternator thats in and powdercoated red, the SRI is red and black so it will look nice!!

so guys I plan to port this beast this spring/summer, I want to run the ports outside the box a bit, so what if I did one on each side of the amp coming out, like a 6 inch, and then 90 degrees turn going up and having the bell flush with the top of the box, or having the bells come to the middle and then turn towards the front, I want to get to a 33hz, this box is about 6.6 cubic feet, what do you think?
