I have 2 12" Alpine SWR-1223D Type R's (2 ohm) and am still looking for an amp. Guest Posted May 8, 2011 Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 your bset bet is te Hifonic brutus ampz there cea cert....So you no you getting the power its rated for. there reall good on price... please speak english Its seems to me I've been reading about a lot of people having problems with the AQ1200 where? i really would like proof on this. i have never heard 1 bad thing about audioque amplifiers. ive owned my 1200 for a few months and it hasnt hiccuped one bit. but the 1200 wouldnt work anyway because you have dual 2 ohm voice coils and an aq1200 would underpower them. you need an amp that outputs 1000-1500rms at 2 ohms.
