2-12's no amp....maybe not a good idea

Recommended Posts

I was out driving around and noticed that the music coming from the rear seemed to sound real crappy, so when I got home I pulled the subs and re-checked the wiring, everything turned out fine. To me it sounds like I screwed up something. It could be that I don't have these in a proper enclosure, but really not sure. Any thoughts?

If it was only powered off the radio, then you may have given the subs too much distortion which can be bad.

A full 14 watts of head unit powaaaaaaaaa!

yeah its powered off the head unit, really did it too see what would happen. Set up right now is a Pioneer head unit, T3 Audio 5x7 coaxials, and a pair of Hifonics 12 inch subs. This is what it sounded like when I first did it. My link

You're sending a full range signal to subs? Lol

Also most head unit amps are not designed to work well below 4ohms

i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch...

going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
