I've been wonder about that for a long time. this is something most people miss....the BASS is actually 15kw so each sub is getting just under 2,000 watts at full power. both T15k's would be INSANE - but the ohm load im showing right now wouldnt work. I would have to change subs (and impedance) to do so. Thats all on Chicken. Right now, it all works......its loud, its clean and he is having tons of fun with it. Its been working since day one with little problems other then he did something to the deck and i had to put an emergency temporary in there (which ended up kicking ass so its still there lol). the systems i build arent always world record breakers but they are almost always, loud, clean and DURABLE. I get just as much satisfaction seeing the system still working like the first day, 3 years after i first fired it up. Im sure the numbers would change a good bit actually that is only "technically" true. i have Half of one amp running the left side of the car, the other running the right side of the car. They both share bass and mids/highs duty. They are both 4 channel class A/B so i have the "rear" of each amp on Bass and the "front" of each amp on midbass/mids/highs. i did this so one amps power supply isnt struggling to make bass while the other just cruises along on mids/highs. Both power supplies share the heavy lifting which helps the electrical system a lot. Its still equal to ONE amp on bass (15kw) just configured a little different.
