1sickpuppy
Does anyone know if the Prime series amps are any good? I know Rockford makes outstanding amps, hell I still run a two channel I bought back in 2001 in my current system. Supercharged DCs
Prime is their entry level right? I've heard mixed reviews about the Prime amps. Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
C-Fizzy
I owned 2 500.1's. Wasn't impressed. But for the money, they were alright. Rather have bought an audiopipe1500.1 for $20 more than 1 500.1. Quote under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? samslowp1s
I am currently running a Prime 150-2 amp to power two 12 inch P1s and it does surprisingly well for the little amount of power being used. It came with a birth sheet with RMS of 181 watts when bridged at 4ohms. The larger amp are capable of running down to 2ohms and most are under rated just like the upper level RF amps. Which one are you looking at using?
JustinWilson
For a small system they will be just fine, still quality. Thermal capabilities come with the Punch and Power amps. Also they are only 2ohm stable. Efficient but not as beastly as their more pricey amps. I personally have only used POWER amps, but my brother owns Punch and Prime. 1sickpuppy
Thanks for the info guys. @ Samslowp1s I was looking at the R300-4 300e 4 channel for my mids and highs. Do you know if they make a "Prime Series" with more power in a 4 channel? Or should I just stop being cheap and get a punch or power series? LOL.
