Hairtrick with 2 DC LVL 3 15's?

Recommended Posts

Well I am planning on upgrading my system in my truck.

I have a Club Cab Dakota with the rear seats taken out.

I am planning on running 2 DC LVL 3 15's ran off my RE VT1600.2.

I will be emailing RAMDesigns about building me a enclosure for this set up.

Could a hairtruck be possible?

Will this hit harder then my 2 JL w3v2 12's I am running now?

Info on my set-up now:

I have already sound deadened my whole cab and doors (minus the floor).

I am about to finish my Big3 upgrade.

Right now I have 4 awg though my truck but I plan on running 1/0 to a disto with 4 awg to the amp.

I do have a Kinetik HC600 hooked up now in my back seat.

Under the hood I have a DieHard Platinum battery.

My mids and highs have been replaced with Alpine Components for now.

Ugh. We can't tell you. Build it and try. No one can tell you how loud your system is or if you can pull off a hairtrick. I can tell you, it won't happen with the 12's.

I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me.

u hate c-fizzy?

Thanks for all the help!

I think I am going to stick with the 15" idea.

Any other subwoofers you guys suggest that are around $250 or lower each (x2)?

HDC 15's are 270. But IMO, worth the extra money.

But OP, Jacob from sundown audio has a deal on b-stock ( bad physical condition) subs right now. 15's for 165 shipped. They're mechanically perfect and come with a warranty.
