I have a pile of equipment I've been saving and i'm about $50 away from starting. Been like that since summer started. Electric bills have me whining like a spoiled brat who just saw some stupid toy in a commercial... I keep telling myself "family first" but I've been waiting a long goddamn time to get this going. I've been thinking about the alternatives to married life but subwoofers can't make you sandwiches. And I like my kids, a little. Just kidding, Honey! (you never know if she's reading this...) How you spend all kinds of money on your system then something breaks on your car. How about something breaks BEFORE your build starts and sets you back even farther. A cool grand I didn't have just went to replacing my radiator, water pump, thermostat and hoses. Thanks Dexcool! You SUCK. 5 years my ASS... not even 3 years and 30k and looks like a head gasket blew it gelled so much. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

new guy Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 im 16 ive been saving up for a sundown 1200d for months now. just to not be able to order it, the only person i know with a credit card is my grandma but her husband wont let me use it. my mom wont let me or her sign up for pay pal she thinks they are gonna steal all our money . so i find one on paypal after looking for about 1 half months. i have a ride and everything, my mom says its fine then the day im spouse to go to pick it up my mom changes her mind after seeing some thing were people got killed by using craigslist. so now im just shit outta luck until im 18. looks like ill have to go to some shop and buy a 1000 watt amp for 400$ *current* 1991 honda crx si 2 skar audio 12s pioneer 6.5s dual 400 watt amp audio technix db 1/0 wiring kit. dual head unit

Alfa314159 Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 When I try to explain that yes T3 is a reputable brand (understatement), the box, ports, and area calculations were made by me, and they still say their best buy $199 system that they got installed at best buy, put no time into it, is "way louder", and they swear they have broke out their windshield.
