Supercharged DCs
So guys, as the title says, I need comparisons. I'm trying to convince my brother to get some XL18's instead of trying to get the DC LV5 18's because of the price difference. I've never ran DC or heard in person, but I'm ready to jump on the bandwagon Truck is 2000 Dodge Dakota. No wall, just removing back seat and going from there. This system would be for daily driver with a comp or two in the future. Plan to run between 7.5-8kwrm on the pair. What difference would I be seeing on that amount of power in a daily driver? Swaggasaur
You would be wasting a lot of woofer with only 6-7k if you go with the lvl 5's Quote BHE Wall Build TEAM DC Audio TEAM XS POWER1986 Monte Carlo KMC Nova's 20"4 DC XL's W/ PSI Recones2 DC 5k'sPioneer PRS 8010 Audio Technix 6 XS Power D3100's 1 XS Power D3400 Mechman 220a Alternator
Robert8252
The XLs would be "easier" to pick up and install. Lol. Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

Bumpindemlowzz
I just got a xl on 2k and it handles it nicely but anything above say 2500-3000wrms i would go with a level 5 for daily. I like the XL even more then my mayhem and btl. Quote 2010 Silverado 18" DC XL 18 DC 2k XS Power Batts
Supercharged DCs
I know the LV5s will want more than that, but my brother is fucking stubborn. I need some facts or something to help make him change his mind, because we share a budget (and truck ) I've put away my whole entire paycheck for the past 4 months to afford the system I have now. I'm ready to have some money to enjoy doing stuff besides buying subs. Quote Bassless once again.
