Leboy23
well I though you needed a extra battery only if you was running around 1500 watts. Depends on your stock electrical. but usually stock electrical will not handle 1200watts Quote 2012 Nissan Altima SL DC M2 Lvl 3 12" with AR cone DC 1.2K Amp Kicker Sum8 Kicker 4 Gauge amp kit XS Power D2700 1.5 Cubic ft net tuned to 38Hz

Leboy23
Well for every 1000 watts you need 80amps. Your car uses about 40 of that 80 leaving you only 40amps for audio plus what ever the battery does. So I would say, for you to see full potential from the amp. Put a battery in the trunk or upgrade your stock with the biggest xs power thst will fit under the hood. This keeps the risk of you frying everything with low voltage. andnowforme
I just installed this amp so if you want to check it out go to my YouTube channel YouTube.com/slaparu to see it. The power and ground are 4 gauge which I was surprised by too. It does 780 rms at 2 ohm and 1250 rms at 1 ohm. If you have any questions hit me up... ilovebass808
I got the dc 1.2k. I have a yellow top up front and a xs d3400 next to the amp. I also have the big 3 done. And my voltage doesn't drop below 13.2 volts. I love my dc 1.2k!!!
