AMI CUSTOMS
I would just clean around the engine frame and exhaust, just the parts that get hot, that way you burnt oil smell will go away. But I have a feeling you are still leaking if you smell it all the time. Oil doesn't just stick to a heated area forever and not burn off. Use brake cleaner, it will work really well. Or b12 carb clean. It is a little stronger then brake clean. If that buildup on the windows (assuming your exhaust doesn't leak) is only in the back it's coming out of the exhaust. I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but IMO it's your motor. Might just need new seals or worse case might have a crack. beat2deth
theres a good possibility that it could be the motor. ive been checking on prices for the same inline 6 rebuilt recently, so thats in the gameplan down the road. but being that money is tight, im hoping its a good ways down the road. thanks for all the help and advice, guys.
