I work at Hy-Vee(mainly in Iowa), its a big grocery store, kinda a wal-mart but more groceries and I stock and bag groceries...$7.20/hr now....

i work at this place called turner industries. mainly deal with pipe fabrication and shit. i work in a shop thats about 150' wide by 400' long. theres about 40 people on day shift and about 25 on night. they have tables set up and there is a pipe fitter and a tacker at each table. im a tacker. the pipe fitter reads the print and puts the pipe together and i tack it together with a tig machine. the type of welding we do is heliarch (spelling). its pretty easy but dirty, we spend probably 60% of the day grinding and cleaning the pipe up before its fit together. i make 13.75 a hour and guaranteed 50 hours a week but lately we have been working 7-10's.....pays tha bills and lets me have fun

full time student that has 3 semesters until graduation with a financial management/planning degree...so right now my job is drinkin whiskey and some school inbetween
