Monergist Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 You can purchase a line driver from your local audio shop, or online at sonic electronix, eBay, Amazon, etc. I was having the same issue when I got rid of my EQS (the AudioControl EQS has a built in line driver). So I bought an AudioControl Overdrive Line Driver. It was okay, but I just recently sold it. I'm not a huge fan of AudioControl, as their products don't seem too compatible with my vehicle; engine noise wise. But you might have better luck with them, or maybe you don't care about engine whine/feedback. How did you install the Y splitters? You're supposed to start them at the deck. Also, what voltage are the preouts on the headunit? I think he's saying he has 2 monoblocks, and one of them has a bass knob connected to it. With both the amp gains zeroed out, and the bass knob of the one amp zeroed out, one sub is louder than the other.
