This is a great build so far. There is nothing wrong with overkill and you have great attention to detail. Your system is more similar to others than you think. I am running about the same wattage as you (600w). MB Quart FTW (cough, cough)lol And I am on a budget too.

Looking forward to more pics.

I personally believe anyone with a tight budget can have what they want if they want it bad enough, just takes patience sometimes and a desire to work for it. Sometimes having more time than money can be a good thing, do you have a build log yet?

Build log is in my sig. Going to rebuild the fronstage on the first. Page 4-6 has stereo playing. I may break down and build a wall. lol I'm not getting the output I want out of the 18's but it is IB. Cant expect much on 120 watts per sub. Sounds very clean though and blends seamlessly with the 10" midbass in the doors. haha

I really want to build a custom box and completely use what airspace I have behind the seats, I know I wont be very happy with the prefab boxes. The thing is I cant really find a box calculator that I understand, so I may just end up paying someone or something to design one ans I'll build it. We will see.

If you give me some measurements of your space your gonna use and some sub specs (inless your still using the comps cause I can get that on the kicker website) I will do a sketchup design for free for you man. :drinks: I made a box for my freinds truck (same body style) that had two CVR12s in it. It sounded pretty good.

Here is the calculator I use.

There's alot better box calculators out there. Torres has an awesome one you can find on here. I personally use HarrisTech BassBoxPro6.

Very cool, thanks for the help guys!!! The room I have to work with it 60" wide x 20" high x 12" deep at the bottom tapering to 4" deep at the top. The Kickers are just temporary, if I can get them to fit I want to get Punch P3D4-10. But if those are too deep I will get the shallow mount P3SD410. Unless of course someone can recommend a better bang for the buck?

I actually have a copy of BassBoxPro v6.0.18, I just really dont understand how it works to be honest and I have only played with it a few times.
