nice build! im 18 so i feel you on the low budget thing! i kinda like how ur amp is mounted. you could just make a little wooden platform for it and then run the power wires underneath it and it would look pretty good. then wrap or paint the box and you'd be looking real good!

That looks a lot like my jeep, just a little taller. The spot I use for my amp is under the rear passenger seat, you can fit a decent sized one in there (I have a BXi1606 there) you have to relocate the jack but yours looks a little lifted anyways so that jack prolly doesnt help much.

Looks good though, always gotta start somewhere and W6's are nice subs. Also if you dun have the lame Infinity amp you can locate the amp under the rear driver side seat (or one under each for mids/highs and sub).

How is the sub sideways port sideways working for you? I've always done subs/port back or subs up port back so I'm curious.

yeah, i'm sitting in the ac right now, bc i got light headed or whatever, but i'm about to go back out and do some rearrange to fit my amp elsewhere. i don't like it on the box but i ran outta room, and as for the jack, its in the back by my box, on a rack i threw together to sortof organize everything. it has a cradle that the axle sits on.

so, i went out, and tried to fit my amp under the seat, but it'll just barely fit, and touches the seat when its down. so, i think i'm going to mount it to the seat and slide my box over towards the passenger side. we'll see how it looks.
