Like what if my vehicle peaks at a higher frequency and thats what i typically meter at, then playing this 40hz test tone and getting no distortion is different than playing what i normally meter at of a say 46hz tone? I dont see this being realalistic with music either, wouldnt playing a different frequency change the amount of distortion from the amplifier. I may play 40 hz fine with gains set 3/4 but cant play 32 hz with gains at 1/2. Someone explain that to me, im lost as to how this is going to keep you from getting distortion at different freq's other than 40 hz if thats the only track you test at. Quote Highlander on 22's!
