kam311 Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 hey guys, so i have decided on an amp for my setup, i like the crescendo bc2000 which does 2250wrms @ 1ohm which is what i will be running it at. i am on a budget tho and i am having trouble finding the best sub(s) for my money. getting 1 or 2 12" subs would save me the hassle of a new box, but i am very open to the idea of 1 15" sub. i have one type r and i would just get another but there is no way they will take 2000wrms haha so i am going to sell my typemost likely. i am open to ideas, im looking at a price range from around $300-400. help, experiences, ideas please Quote so far... Just a few random subs that should be somewhere around your budget, maybe a bit higher but you get what you pay for... You would need to build a custom ported box to get the most out of them. What does your electrical look like to support the BC2000? Quote Bassless once again. kam311 Posted June 20, 2011 Author Report Posted June 20, 2011 yeah, i was also looking at 2 obsidians, ive seen good things about those subs, but im not sure if id put 1000wrms to each one... and for electrical i have a dodge cummins diesiel with 2 batt's, ill be doing the big 3, well what is not already done on the stock setup at least. i have 700-900 watts right now coming out of it and it stays at 13.6v constantly so its pretty sturdy i think. id see how far the big 3 will take me and i dont think id ever run the amp full tilt Quote so far... And it should be sturdy with only 7/900 watts, most stock electrical systems can handle around 1000w or so, easily. Quote Bassless once again. kam311 Posted June 20, 2011 Author Report Posted June 20, 2011 Well the electrical system isn't my highpoint so I was hoping maybe if I told you exactly what truck I have you may have had some experiance with it or know, lo idk and the batts are just the equivalents to the stock batts. And about the sturdy electrical system I'm just tellin you pretty much what the guys at crescendo told me when I asked them about the electrical system. They said I may need another batt in the rear if I ran it full tilt at 1 ohm Quote so far... I believe its right around 140 amps correct me if im wrong.
