I am gonna buy some 5.25 components for the front stage soon and can't pick between these:

they all cost between 90-100.

Boston S50

Phoenix Gold RSD

Kicker KS50.2

which would you get? (I'm on a strict budget and they will be amped)

I have a pair of old Kicker RS6's circa 2001-2002 that I still use to this day as my rear fill! Everyone tells me they are clear and crisp. Granted I did pay $250 for them on eBay back in 2001ish. I'd say get the Kickers or Bostons. PG used to be the shit but now I'm not to sure.

I'm kinda leaning towards the Phoenix golds.

apparently it's a crowd favorite but the kickers as well. only thing that bothers me is that the Phoenix golds were good bc they were so cheap. like 40$. now they are 90-100$. is it still worth it?

What are you looking at for power?

I am going to have to say in this oder: Boston, PG, and then something other than the Kicker KSs.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
