jroshandtap Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 alright finally got my amps figured out, and i finally the 1/0 gauge wire but im not sure as to were to mount the engine block wire. I have a 2005 ford explorer and im just not sure as to where i should tie this wire into the engine block. obviously the ground from battery and alt. wires are pretty easy but i just wanted to know if any of you have my vehicle and did the upgrade to your systems and if so how do you install the engine block wire. thanks for your help

XX7R Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 I installed it. I just took out the stock 8 gauge wire from the block to the battery and replaced it with 0 gauge. jroshandtap Posted June 25, 2011 Author Report Posted June 25, 2011 it says in the tutorial that you can use any engine block bolt but its recommended that you use the existing bolt. if you guys cant get pictures of your install can you tell me if your is on the right side or left side of the block? XX79 you said you installed it on the same vehicle right?
